Above is the original photo
Below is the photo after being process by Topaz DeNoise AI
This is an older photo, from August 2006, using a 300mm/2.8 manual Nikkor with a 1.4 TC. Even though the photo was shot at ISO 200, it was still a bit noisy. The sensor and processor on the D200 are far behind current cameras. The photo cleans up well with the application of the Topaz DeNoise AI.
This amazing filter is easy to use. Works on jpegs.
It is possible to vary the amount of noise removed. These photos are the first that I’ve worked on, so I just guessed at what settings to use. The original photos were too big for this web host. They have been cropped more than I’d like and density reduced from the original 300dpi to 200. The La Jolla photo was reduced only to 250dpi.
