End of the World Birding-Chiricahua Mountains

May 15, 2020

I made another trip to Turkey Creek with Nancy Christensen, Barbara Carlson and Mel Senec to see more of the various cool birds on Turkey Creek.

We were not disappointed. Although it took a while to find the Crescent-crested Warbler, all the birds on our wish-list were found except for Buff-breasted Fly. In addition to the birds photographed there were Grace’s Warbler, Warbling, Plumbeous, and Hutton’s Vireos, Hermit and Swainson’s Thrushes, American Robin, Painted Redstart, Wild Turkey. Yellow-eyed Juncos, Mexican and Stellar’s Jays, Hepatic and Western Tanagers, and Cordilleran Flys.
